On Sunday I attended Green Fest and let me just start out by saying that I had SUCH an amazing day! As soon as I got there I got to chat with some amazing companies who are all doing great things to help the environment. Then I was whisked away to introduce one of the chilren's performers. Afterwards, I got to mingle some more. I always love attending these kinds of events because it is such a learning experience for me to become more educated on things I can be doing to help. Towards the end of the night I was scheduled to be modeling the finale piece in a runway show hosted by Merrigan's Boutique. The dress I modeled was GORGEOUS. Im wearing it in the picture to the left and in the pictures at the bottom. It was hand made from recycled materials which is eco friendly; something that I definitely like.
It was the first year for this event but you never would have known by looking at how many people showed up! There were hundreds of people out to support the Earth. This will definitely be a long running event in the years to come and I was excited to be part of it.
